Does a Peace Bond require the person to plead guilty to the offence that he/she is charged with?
Yes
No
No. A Peace Bond is a set of conditions that may be imposed on an accused person in criminal proceedings. When an accused person signs on a Peace Bond the only determination is whether the Justice has a concern as to safety, and therefore there is no determination of guilt. An accused person may still be entering a Peace Bond without admitting to any liability or guilt with respect to alleged set of facts.
