I found out a few months ago that the reason that my spouse and I have been able to live a good lifestyle for the last few years is that my spouse is stealing money from the employer. I did not steal any of the money. However, I very much appreciate the new cars and other items that we have. Am I at any risk?

Anyone who has in his/her possession any property or thing or any proceeds of any property or thing knowing that all or part of the property or thing or the proceeds was obtained by or derived directly or indirectly from the commission of a criminal offence is also criminally responsible. Thus, even if you have yourself not stolen the money, you may be charged as an accessory after the fact
