I was very interested in criminal law, even before going to law school in that I had spent time working in and around prisons. In law school I focused on criminal law, spending one summer working for a judge that dealt with juvenile delinquent cases and another summer working at the office of the Crown Attorney in Toronto, as a Provincial Prosecutor. As a new lawyer, I worked with some of the most experienced and skilled lawyer such as William D Mackie, Q.C., where I learned from the skills from the finest.
I have instructed in the Bar Admission Courses for the Law Society in Criminal Procedure and in Advocacy. In Ontario I have appeared at all levels of court in criminal proceedings, from the Court of Appeal, jury trials in Superior Court, Judge alone trials in Superior Court, and trials and proceedings in the Provincial Court.
My commitment is to avoid a conviction if possible, and if not we will work very vigorously on the sentencing component to obtain the lease penalty possible.
For vigorous and fearless representation please contact me. In our firm I am senior in criminal law but there are other lawyers who can assist in providing the best defence possible. We will strive to work out a budget that makes it possible for you to get the best representation.
