Collaborative Family Law
![]() Irina Nastase I am passionate about my work, committed to my clients, take pride in helping children and families and strive to do this in the most time and cost efficient manner. While appearing regularly in family courts, I work with clients to assist them in reaching mutually acceptable settlements whenever possible by using negotiation rather than adversarial techniques and litigation - because every family has its own unique circumstances which should be reflected in creative settlements tailored to its specific needs. My practice focuses on family law where I represent clients in all areas including custody and access, child and spousal support, equalization and division of property, and mobility rights. I am a certified Collaborative Family Law lawyer and am a member of the Peel Halton Collaborative Group. My background and interest in psychology helps to bring an effective but compassionate approach not only to my collaborative practice but more generally to all families, including those involved in litigation. I graduated from York University with a B.Sc. in Psychology, and obtained a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2006. |
