Haig DeRusha has experiences in wrongful convictions
and wrongful prosecutions in Canada for over 20
years. Haig represented the first person to be
compensated pursuant to the Federal Provincial
Guidelines for compensation for wrongly convicted
persons.
Haig DeRusha also obtained his Masters in Civil
Law by writing a paper under the supervision of
Professor Diane Martin. Written in 2002, the paper
is entitled "A Compensation for Wrongful
Criminal Convictions: Looking for a 'Made in Canada'
