What is a Consultation?
A consultation
is an opportunity for you to receive information
from a knowledgeable professional on the following
topics:
- What is the nature of the problem
in legal terms?
- What are the legal options that may
be considered?
- What additional information or steps
should be taken to protect the interest or evidence?
- What possible non-legal solutions
might be available?
- What would be the cost factors and
approach that should be taken?
- Is this a situation where a lawyer
should be engaged or whether the person can
put in to effect the plans without the need
for a lawyer?
Following the consultation the law firm will
do the following:
- Create a memo reflecting the discussions
and comments;
- Provide the memo to you if you wish,
so that you may further reflect on it.
To Schedule a Consultation
To arrange for a consultation you should phone
our office. The staff will ask you a series of
questions. The answers to these questions will
not form part of the consultation. A lawyer must
know the particulars about you, your address and
other information, but this is obtained through
the support staff rather than taking time with
the lawyer. |

Our office will decide the best lawyer
to deal with your fact situation and an
appointment will be scheduled. Particulars
of the arrangements will be discussed
by the support staff.
Please call 905-625-2874 and tell our
staff that you would like to arrange a
consultation. It may be possible to have
the consultation over the phone rather
than in person, if this is more convenient
for you. Our firm accepts, as payment
towards the consultation, VISA and MasterCard
and these arrangements may be made in
advance over the phone or in person when
you attend at the office. |
